Cake Smashes & Birthday Celebrations

Cake smashes and milestone portrait sessions are the perfect way to showcase your child's growth, sweet mannerisms and capture lasting memories of their tininess that you'll cherish forever.

Milestones and Cake Smashes include a 1 hour photoshoot with custom setup, cute little wardrobe changes and classic props. We will start with portraits of your little one that showcases all their current milestone successes from tummy time to toddler play!

Baby Milestone Portraits

Baby milestone portraits are typically scheduled at 3mos., 6mos. and 9mos of age. These sessions are designed to capture the tiny details of your growing baby from dimpled hands to chubby thighs- we will capture it all! The sitting fee for milestone portraits is $75.

Cake Smash

Focussed on birthday celebrant, parents and siblings are welcome. The sitting fee starts at $125 with option to add additional setups for +$25 per upgrade. Simple smash cake may be added $15+. Please inquire for more details.

Birthday Portraits

Optional setups offered for various ages include, paint and play, glitter bash, cake decorating, bubble bath, milk bath and in the box. Please inquire for additional details. Sitting fee starts at $75.

When should I book my child's cake smash session?

I recommend scheduling 6-8 weeks before their birthday, this ensures plenty of time for planning and preparation.

What age should a cake smash session be done for?

Cake smash sessions can really be done for all ages. But the most popular age for this type of session is a baby's first birthday-that's when they are the messiest! However, I have had many families contact me after their child's first birthday to do another cake smash session for their baby's 2nd, 3rd and 4th birthday as well. It's really up to you on when you choose to celebrate with a smash cake.

What type of session do you recommend for a busy toddler?

Paint and play sessions are great for busy toddlers that don't like to sit and focus on a camera. In this session we will capture your little one's 'big' personality as they are given a canvas and washable finger paint to create at their own pace. This session allows for a positive, memorable experience while they are getting their pictures taken-and the best part of all is that you'll keep your child's artwork to display with his or her portraits for years to come.

What is the purpose of a milk bath for babies?

Milk baths can be done to commemorate you and your baby's breastfeeding journey or just simply for fun! Milk baths may include cereal, fruits and/or greenery for an added luxurious look to your baby's portraits.
